Working principle of vertical injection molding machine:

 

Plastic injection molding machine is a process that uses the thrust of the screw (or plunger) to inject the plasticized molten state (i.e. viscous flow state) plastic into the closed mold cavity, and obtains the product after solidification. Injection molding is a cyclic process, and each cycle mainly includes: quantitative feeding - melting and plasticization - pressure injection - mold filling and cooling - mold opening and taking out the parts. After taking out the plastic parts, the mold is closed again and the next cycle is carried out.

 

Advantages of vertical injection molding machines:

 

1. The injection device and the clamping device are located on the same vertical center line, and the mold is opened and closed in the up and down direction. Its floor space is only about half of that of the horizontal machine, so the productivity converted into floor space is about twice.

2. Vertical injection molding machines are easy to achieve insert molding. Because the mold surface is facing upward, it is easy to place and position the insert. If a machine with a fixed lower template and a movable upper template is used, and the belt conveyor device is combined with a manipulator, fully automatic insert molding can be easily achieved.

3. The weight of the mold of the vertical injection molding machine is supported by the horizontal template for up and down opening and closing, and the phenomenon of falling forward due to the gravity of the mold similar to the horizontal machine, which makes the template unable to open and close, will not occur. It is conducive to maintaining the accuracy of the machine and the mold for a long time.

4. The vertical injection molding machine can remove each plastic part cavity through a simple manipulator, which is conducive to precision molding.

5. The surrounding of the general clamping device is open, and it is easy to configure various types of automation devices, which is suitable for the automatic molding of complex and delicate products.

6. The belt conveyor of the vertical injection molding machine can be easily installed in the middle of the mold, which is convenient for automatic molding production.

7. Compared with the horizontal injection molding machine, the vertical injection molding machine is easier to ensure the consistency of the resin fluidity and the temperature distribution of the mold.

8. Equipped with rotating table, moving table and inclined table, it is easy to realize insert molding and in-mold combination molding.

9. When the vertical injection molding machine is trial-produced in small batches, the mold structure is simple, the cost is low, and it is easy to unload.

10. The vertical injection molding machine has withstood the test of many earthquakes. Due to its low center of gravity, the vertical machine has better earthquake resistance than the horizontal machine.
