1. Screw design: The characteristics of PET plastic require the injection molding machine to be equipped with a special screw, usually with a length-to-diameter ratio of 1:24 or more, in order to ensure good plasticizing ability and uniform melt.
2. Mold space: The mold size needs to be matched with the injection molding machine's large column pitch, mold thickness, minimum mold size and template size, to ensure that the mold can be installed smoothly and the product is taken out smoothly.
3. Products out of space: open mold stroke and mold stroke should be large enough to ensure that the finished product can be smoothly removed from the mold.
4. Clamping force: PET plastic in the injection molding process will produce a large force to support the mold, so the mold clamping unit of the injection molding machine needs to provide sufficient clamping force to prevent the mold from being held open.
5. Injection volume: according to the weight of the finished product and the number of cavities, choose the appropriate injection volume to ensure that the product can be fully filled.
6. Screw compression ratio: PET plastic needs better plasticizing ability and suitable screw compression ratio design to ensure the molding effect of the finished products.
7. Storage motor: due to the PET plastic easy to stick material, molding temperature and other reasons, need a larger screw torque, so often choose than ordinary machine two or more than two levels of storage motor.
8. Power system: increase the storage motor at the same time also need to increase the power system to ensure that the machine runs more stable, shorten the product cycle time.
9. Mold waterway: PET molds are usually equipped with a special PET water distribution block to enhance the cooling efficiency of the mold.
10. Drying treatment: PET plastic needs to be fully dried before molding to ensure its stability and product quality in the injection molding process.
