There are usually two ways to distinguish the size of an injection molding machine:
1. Tonnage refers to the maximum clamping force of the injection molding machine. The clamping force is to see whether the injection molding machine can withstand the pressure on the projected area of the product in the mold. For example, a 120-ton injection molding machine refers to an injection molding machine with a maximum clamping force of 120 tons.
2. Grams refers to the maximum shot weight of the injection molding machine with PE as the raw material. For example, a 200-gram injection molding machine refers to a maximum shot weight of 200 grams with PE as the raw material.
In the early days, injection molding machines were expressed in terms of shot weight (OZ), and later they were expressed in terms of clamping force, so 650 tons = 650 tons of clamping force.
Jinming Machinery has been focusing on injection molding machines for 15 years and has accepted customized machines of various tonnages. If you have any needs, please contact us.
